Speaking to Rolling Stone, Daryl says, “I’ve played many Halloween shows over the years, but never anything like this.” The occasion is the opening of Daryl’s House, the singer’s new bar and concert venue in Pawling, New York, inspired by his popular TV and online series Live from Daryl’s House. Six episodes of the show’s new season, which will debut in March, will be taped there.
While Daryl himself says he doesn’t plan to dress up, he predicts fans will. After all, he says some fans even dress as him and John when it’s not Halloween. “There are always some fools that do things like that,” he tells Rolling Stone. “At least this is an appropriate time to do it.”
Asked which era of Hall & Oates will make the best costume, Daryl says, “Now.”
If you can’t watch the show tonight, it’ll be replayed for the next 24 hours.
