1. Coca-Cola “Mean Joe Green” (1979)
“Thanks, Mean Joe!” Nudd called this “one of the most-beloved Super Bowl commercials ever.”
2. Apple “1984” (1984)

Nudd said, “The most famous commercial ever made — the ad to change all ads, particularly Super Bowl commercials.” This is my favorite.
3. McDonald’s “The Showdown” (1993)
Michael Jordan and Larry Bird compete for a Big Mac and fries by playing an incredible game of horse. CLASSIC!
4. Budweiser “Frogs” (1995)
“Bud. Wise. Er.” This campaign lasted for years.
5. Monster.com “When I Grow Up” (1999)
This was a very poignant and effective Monster.com spot.
6. E*Trade “Monkey” (2000)
“Well, we just wasted $2 million,” says the on-screen text. “What are you doing with your money?”
7. Budweiser “Respect” (2002)
The Budweiser Clydesdales genuflect in the direction of Ground Zero in the first Super Bowl after 9/11.
8. Reebok “Terry Tate” (2003)
Terry Tate, a linebacker, doled out pain to office workers who are not obeying office policies. This could be remade with Terry Crews today!
9. Google “Parisian Love” (2010)
A love story told entirely through Google visuals. Effective!

The most-watched Super Bowl ad ever made (the online version has 61 million views). We’ve all seen it, we all love it.
